1. Agreement

By using coddy-tool.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to everyone who visits, with no account or registration required.

2. The service

CODDY Tool provides free online utilities for working with images, PDFs, text and code. All tools are free to use. There is no account, no subscription, no payment and no premium tier.

Most tools run entirely within your browser. We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and we may change how a tool works.

3. Your content stays yours

You keep all rights to the files and text you process here. We claim no ownership, no licence and no interest in your content.

For tools that process data in your browser — which is nearly all of them — we never receive your content at all. There is nothing for us to claim rights over.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to:

  • Process content you do not have the legal right to process, including material that infringes someone else’s copyright.
  • Break any applicable law, or facilitate anyone else doing so.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, mirror or systematically copy the site, or run automated requests against it at a volume that degrades the service for others.
  • Remove, obscure or interfere with advertising, or misrepresent the site as your own.

You are responsible for the content you process and for ensuring you have the right to do so.

5. Availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time, and we may suspend or discontinue any part of it without notice.

6. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that any tool will produce a specific result, that output will be suitable for any specific purpose, or that processing will be free of errors or data loss. Always keep a copy of your original files. Because processing happens on your device and we never hold your files, we cannot recover anything that goes wrong.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CODDY Tool and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. Advertisements are supplied by third-party networks and their content is not ours. We do not endorse advertised products or services and are not responsible for third-party sites you reach through an advertisement. 9. Intellectual property

The site’s design, text, branding and code are owned by CODDY Tool and protected by copyright, except where third-party open-source components are used under their own licences. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.

10. Third-party components

Some tools rely on open-source libraries, each governed by its own licence. Those licences apply to the libraries themselves, not to your use of this site.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence are unaffected.
